Game Modes


Cosmonarchy offers a number of game modes, each based on the primary Competitive mode. This page describes each game mode for easy reference.

  • Competitive - Standard rules apply!
  • Scenario - Mission briefings are enabled. Kills display is deactivated, replaced with a custom display name.
  • Omnipresence - Human players start with an Omnivale, and are capable of controlling all races.
  • Faction Wars - Players select a faction in the early-game, modifying their racial techtree. Bountied by Btyb!
  • Massacre - Vespene nodes are too unstable to harvest from! Unit creation and killing gives 3 vespene, and you get twice as many units per training. Bountied by Btyb!
  • The Turning - Fallen units resurrect after a short delay, and are hostile to all players.
  • Uprising - Hostile camps set up shop around all base sites.
  • Duopoly - Human players start with an Omnivale, and control two races.
  • Embraced - All units are infested! Structures spread cagra, and all units move at half speed, have half vision range, and gain 1 armor.
  • Dark Ages - -20% to base sight & weapon ranges, cliff advantage gives 0.5 weapon range (from 1), attacking flyers are disabled.
  • Deathmarch - Massacre AND The Turning.
  • Brotherhood - All units split like the Simulacrum! Shieldless units take longer to replicate. Bountied by 3crow!
  • Debug - Resources are near-infinite and training speeds are cranked up significantly.
