Tutorials for Cosmonarchy buck the deleterious trends typical of such content by teaching persistent skills, pitting players against functional enemies, and challenging newcomers to overcome failure in order to even pass the first tutorial missions.
As with other campaign content by Pr0nogo, tutorials are set within Krysilliant.
Goals:
- Introduce new players to each of Cosmonarchy's races
- Demand improvement from weaker players, preparing them for the tougher trials ahead
Terran tutorial: Further Notice
Status: Released!In order to graduate the officer's academy, Orion Imperium cadet Cettocci must defeat his hardline instructor Osina in an unfamiliar training sim. He is advised by fellow cadet Macrill, who manages to disrupt communications for the training sim in order to help his friend.
Protoss tutorial: The Initiate
Status: Released!After receiving an enigmatic missive, Terimanok is dispatched to reinforce a distressed Primacy warband, only to come under fire by a rogue Justicar, Inirix. The young Initiate receives counsel from the wise and stern Furen, and must defeat his traitorous brethren in order to interrogate their inexplicable motivations.
Zerg tutorial: Autophagy
Status: Released!A new organ completed its gestation, and must prove itself to be fit for purpose by overcoming and consuming a withered rival. Should it fail, it will rejuvenate the aging organ, and the process will start anew. Success will see this genesis organ specialize to best serve the Ataltreth Tendril.
